SPENSA

SPENSA is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl of ages 5-21 who has a mental or physical disability. It is our hope over the next few years to enable hundreds of St. Louis area young people the opportunity to become a valued and successful member of the St. Louis soccer community.

SPENSA is free of charge to all of these special children. The program is funded through the generous donations of individuals and corporations.

Fundraising Update

Fundraising FINAL

Everyone raising $250 will receive an email on October 12 that will serve as the invitation to the event with Abby. Each fundraiser may bring a parent or guardian. The email you receive will detail if you are a top 2, top 10 or top 64 fundraiser. This section of the website will have the final top 2, top10 and top 64 results soon after the fundraising deadline. The fundraising update will be marked FINAL RESULTS. Our goal is to have the final results within minutes of the fundraising deadline.

Check in for the event begins at 11:15 am at Vetta Sports Soccerdome.

The event begins at 12:00 pm. The event begins with each fundraiser getting any one item autographed by Abby and getting a picture with Abby. Following autographs and pictures, lunch will be served. The top 10 overall fundraisers will sit with Abby at the head table, the top 2 overall fundraisers sit next to Abby. After lunch, we will conduct a Q&A with Abby. We will preselect questions submitted by the fundraisers and the selected questions will be asked by the fundraiser while standing next to Abby, Q&A forms will be available on each table during lunch. After the Q&A we will begin the soccer games with Abby. We will have 4 separate 10 minute games based on age. We will begin with the 7&8′s; the 9&10′s; the 11&12′s and the 13 and up game. Abby will play on each team for 5 minutes.

If you are a top 64 fundraiser we will ask you to reply to your email invitation with the age of your participant.

The event is scheduled to end at 4:00 pm.
